Roanoke startup Tiny Cargo Co. is developing milk-derived exosomes to deliver therapeutic peptides that protect tissue from radiation and heart damage. After solving a key preservation challenge, the company is building production facilities and preparing for FDA-approved trials of its lead peptide, XOLacta.
