The Virginia Tech Carilion School of Medicine welcomed its 12th class on Monday, July 26. More than 6,400 applied for the 49 available positions. The medical school is located in Roanoke, Virginia, adjacent to the Fralin Biomedical Research Institute at VTC. It is also co-located with Carilion Clinic outpatient centers and the health system’s Level 1 Trauma Center, Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital.
