Azziza “Kemi” Bankole, associate professor of psychiatry and behavioral medicine at the Virginia Tech Carilion School of Medicine and geriatric psychiatrist for Carilion Clinic has been named chief diversity officer for the medical school.
Dr. Bankole has been a faculty member at the Virginia Tech Carilion School of Medicine the last decade and her new role begins January 1, 2021.
